Who is responsible
Playbrand, Holstebro, Denmark, is responsible for platform account and operational data. Businesses running a game are responsible for their own customer marketing and reward terms. Contact support@playbrand.co.uk or nicolaimoelgaard@gmail.com about your personal data or a game you played.
Player and owner data
Games store an anonymous browser player identifier, game identifier, scores, run times, leaderboard display name if supplied, and reward codes with tier, prize, minimum order, issue time, expiry and redemption status. Optional signup stores the email address, name, consent and town supplied by the player. Optional surveys store answers and timestamps. Owner accounts store email, optional display name/country, saved game content, orders and published games. Technical security logs may include device and request information. We do not collect precise location unless you explicitly provide it.
Why we use data
We use data to run games, show scores, apply reward expiry and cooldowns, prevent abuse, let authorised owners verify rewards, and provide support and account services. We rely on contract for account and paid services, legitimate interests for security and game operation, and consent for optional marketing. A business must obtain appropriate consent before marketing to players. We do not sell personal data.
Cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies and local storage keep you signed in and retain player identifiers, preferences, scores and draft games. Session storage preserves the last result when returning from a social or review link. These restored results are not proof of redemption. There are no advertising cookies added by Playbrand. Stripe and sign-in providers may set their own necessary cookies during payment or sign-in. Optional external social links open services with their own privacy policies.
Hosting and sharing
Application data is hosted on Lovable Cloud in the EU. Connections use HTTPS. Stripe processes payment details; Playbrand does not store full card numbers. Authorised business owners can access their game statistics, leads, survey responses and reward records. Email delivery and sign-in providers process the data needed to provide those services. Public leaderboards show display names and scores, not emails or secret player identifiers. Data sent to external providers may be subject to their transfer safeguards.
Retention
Browser drafts and preferences remain on your device until removed. Session results normally last for the browser session. We retain account and saved game data while the account or hosting service is active and as needed for support, security and legal obligations. Reward codes normally expire after 48 hours, but expiry does not delete the audit record; we retain reward and game records to manage disputes and abuse. Contact us to request deletion or a retention review. Financial records are retained for legally required periods. No automatic 30-day deletion is implied by the 30-day statistics view.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing where applicable. Withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful use. Clear browser storage to remove local drafts and preferences. To make a request, contact support@playbrand.co.uk or nicolaimoelgaard@gmail.com; we may need to verify your identity. You may complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) or your local supervisory authority.
Changes
We update this policy when data use changes materially and show the updated date. Businesses must explain any additional integrations or marketing use they choose to add.
